MY DAVID FOSTER SHOES

Maria Manna My story is definite proof that the law of attraction works. Michael Losier showed me how to incorporate it into my life and here is what happened.

It was December 27th, 2006, when a girlfriend of mine and I walked into a trendy shoe store. I saw a pair of shoes I liked and picked them up. I turned to my friend and said, "These will be my David Foster shoes!

She asked what I meant by that. I told her that when I meet David Foster, I will be wearing these shoes.

On January 27th, I found out that David Foster was coming to Victoria to speak about his music in the movies. We purchased tickets and decided to get there early for a front row seat. I was wearing my David Foster shoes.
David Foster came on stage with Terry David Mulligan.
There was a DVD player, a clicker, a screen, 2 microphones and a piano. David began speaking about his songs in movies and how he could adjust a singer's voice in the studio to sound perfect. He then said that he could fix anyone's voice that night and if there was anyone in the audience who fancied themselves as a singer. I put up my hand and he invited me up to the stage. There wasn't any instrumentation on stage to alter someone's voice. When he asked me what I was going to sing, I said "The Very Thought of You" He asked me what key. I said," I don't know". He said, "Well do you want to sing it accapella or have me back you up?"

I said, "I'll sing it accapella" He said, "Yeah like why you would want someone like me playing for you...?"

I sang the song while he played and at the end he shook my hand and told me that I was very good.

I asked him what he could do to make my voice better seeing as he could fix anyone's voice. He told me that there was nothing to fix. He said that I was a great singer.
At the end of the show, he disappeared behind the curtain. I panicked. I wanted to give him my CD. We went to the nearby lounge to see if he would be there. There was a 40 minute wait. Then I had a strong feeling that he would be back in the auditorium. Ahhh, there he was signing autographs. I walked up to him, waited for him to finish, when a gentleman commented on my performance. I thanked him and told him that I was singing at Pagliacci's (local jazz restaurant) every second Wednesday. David Foster turned to me and said "You sing at Pagliacci's? I'm going to come hear you." I then told him that I had a CD and could I give it to him. He said, "I'd love to hear it".

He never did show up but we were in the paper together. I'm this close!!!!!!!
